First burn should be 2-4 hours long. Regularly trim wick to 1/8 - 1/4 inch prior to each burn. Never leave burning candle unattended. Restore lid when not using to reduce dust and debris. Gel candles burn hot. Burn on a heat resistant surface and Never touch candle when it is lit! Avoid heavy exposure to UV sunlight which can discolor the gel wax over time. Discontinue us when 1/2 inch of wax is left. You can remove contents with a spoon and clean jar with dish soap to keep.
