Bring in up to 5 rocks at a time for identification so everyone has a change to participate. Whether you are a collector, a hobbyist, or just curious, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more about the fascinating world of geology!
Story & Craft Time
Join us on Saturday, March 8th from 11 AM to 3 PM for a special free event with local author Stephanie Crane.
Stephanie, who grew up in Sartell, will be sharing her brand-new book, Me And You in the Big Green Canoe, a heartwarming story that takes young readers on an enchanting journey through the pristine Minnesota wilderness.This beautifully told adventure celebrates friendship, collaboration, and the breathtaking beauty of the natural world—reminding us all that wild is truly beautiful.
📚 Story-time & Puppet Show – Enjoy an engaging reading of Me And You in the Big Green Canoe, brought to life with a fun puppet show at 11:30 AM and 2:00 PM
🛶 Craft Station- Kids can design their own canoe paddle craft, inspired by the adventurous spirit of the book, in between the reading times.
✍️ Meet the Author! – Books will be available for purchase, and Stephanie will be happy to sign copies and take photos with attendees.

Handpick agate slices and cut colorful stained glass pieces to bring your vision to life on an 8x8 shadow box frame. Let your imagination run wilde as you create an intuitive abstract design reflecting your unique style. Watch your creation evolve into a dazzling stained glass artwork, perfect for any window or wall.
At the end of the class, take home a grouting kit to add those final finishing touches. And if you crave more rocks for your mosaic, additional agates are available for purchase.
